Your Challenge
Hi-Rel application challenges are diverse with extensive reliability expectations. In applications, such as radar, security, communications, and test/measurement, fans are rarely permitted in systems to reduce mechanical wear. Power supplies’ operating temperatures must not impact long-term reliability. And those operating in harsh environments need to withstand greater shock and vibrations.
To meet these challenges, as well as cost and time-to-market demands, power supply solutions are needed that can be customized to specifications, but also provide the affordability and speed of a COTS solution.
Our Solution
Advanced Energy’s low voltage power solutions, CoolX series, XF, Xsolo, and UltiMod platforms, can provide exact volts and amps required by systems via COTS power supplies. They have undergone highly accelerated life testing (HALT) and are certified to MIL-STD-810G standard for shock and vibration. And conformal coating is available for harsh-environment applications.
The CoolX series eliminates forced-air cooling and increases reliability. It provides fanless, multiple-output solutions that can significantly streamline system designs for MILCOTs applications.
